About Elise

With two bachelor’s and one master’s degree covering studies across a range of sciences and humanities subjects, Elise has spent over 4,000 hours tutoring students in preparation for the SAT, ACT, PSAT, ISEE, SSAT, AP exams, and SAT Subject Tests.

As a high school student, Elise achieved scores of 5 on the AP English Literature & Composition and AP U.S. Government & Politics exams. She also earned a score of 780 on the SAT Subject Test in Literature.

Since then, Elise has helped students achieve perfect scores in all sections of the SAT and ACT, and her students have attended Stanford, Yale, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Oberlin, and Harvard Business School, to name a few. In addition to tutoring, Elise has experience in curriculum development and tutor trainings.

A personalized approach and warm, friendly environment are central to Elise’s tutoring. She combines her knowledge of learning psychology and neuroscience with her vast experience tutoring students of all ages and abilities in order to design a unique curriculum for every student. Elise’s students gain academic skills that serve them throughout their high school years and beyond.
