    About Gilli

    Gilli is a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University in New York. She has been tutoring with ArborBridge since 2010 and has thousands of hours of tutoring under belt. She enjoys helping students achieve their goals through both academic tutoring and test prep.

    In high school, Gilli scored a 2180 on her SAT (equivalent to a 1510 in current scoring) and was an AP Scholar with Distinction and a Bank of America Named Scholarship recipient. As a tutor, Gilli has helped a student raise their SAT Math score from a 680 to a perfect 800. One of Gilli’s recent students whose first language was not English was able to raise their SAT Verbal score from a 640 to 730. One of Gilli’s ISEE students scored perfect 9 stanines in all sections of the exam, and one of her SSAT students scored in the 99th percentile in all exam sections.

    Gilli brings patience, humor, and confidence-boosting energy to all of her tutoring sessions, and she is always thrilled to hear about the success her students have gone on to achieve after working with her. Gilli’s SAT, Subject Test, AP, and academic tutoring students have been accepted to Ivy League Schools, and her ISEE, SSAT, and HSPT students have been accepted to elite private and boarding schools nationwide.

    Noteworthy Accomplishments

    • All of Gilli’s SAT II French students have broken 700 on the exam, with one of them scoring a 790.
    • One of Gilli’s recent SAT students raised their SAT score 210 points: from a 1320 to a 1530.

    Fun Facts

    • Gilli wrote her undergraduate senior thesis about yoga, and she earned departmental honors for it!
    • Gilli loves foreign languages and speaks Hebrew, French, some Russian, and even a bit of KiSwahili.
