    About Paul

Paul graduated with Honors from the University of Southern California. He first began tutoring in high school (amidst achieving perfect scores on the Math 1 and 2 Subject Tests) and continued doing so while at university, twice volunteering for the Joint Education Program, an initiative to provide quality teachers and tutors for Los Angeles youth.

Paul now specializes in college admission exams, including the ACT, SAT, PSAT, TOEFL, English Literature, and Math Subject Tests. Paul serves as ArborBridge’s Subject Specialist in mathematics, designing new curriculum and serving as an expert resource for all tutors in the company who teach math for the Subject Test, SAT, ACT, IB, and AP programs. Paul has been integral in the creation of ArborBridge’s ACT and SAT curricula, writing and editing lessons in the verbal and math sections of each. More than half of Paul’s Math 2 Subject Test students have ultimately scored 800 on the official exam. He brings this same stellar consistency to his verbal tutoring: Paul’s ACT students routinely achieve 10+ point gains on the English section.

Paul has resided in Europe for the last three years and has tutored students of all ages and backgrounds. He is well versed in the AP, IB, and A-Level programs and has helped various international students gain acceptance to each of the top twenty American universities.

“I see Paul as the final piece to my college application puzzle—and it was a perfect fit. Not only did we get along immediately thanks to his jovial personality and sense of humor, but his strategic cleverness and vast mathematical knowledge were invaluable in helping me conquer the ACT Math and Science sections, which were the most challenging. Lessons were personalized, and his flexible schedule allowed for optimized learning. Really, I could not have asked for a better tutor and tutoring program. His dedication and commitment have helped me gain entrance to Harvard University, which not long ago was a distant dream.”
