    About Samhita

Samhita attended the University of Southern California on a full tuition scholarship and earned a full scholarship to study abroad in Edinburgh, Scotland. She also received the Summer Undergraduate Research Fund for her research at the USC Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology. She is currently earning her Master’s of Science degree in Global Medicine at USC Keck and aims to become a physician.

Beginning with university, Samhita has gained several years of tutoring experience, specializing in SAT, ACT, and biology. Under the old SAT format, she helped students turn their 1700 scores into 2100+, and has subsequently seen them attend their dream universities. As an ArborBridge tutor, Samhita has helped students improve from 1170 to 1500 on the SAT. She has also seen students achieve a score gain from 20 to 32 in ACT English, 21 to 33 in ACT Reading, and 24 to 33 in ACT Math, to name a few.

Understanding the demands of higher education, Samhita practices empathy, approachability and integrity in order to see her students reach their full potentials. As a science teacher in a New York summer camp, Samhita valued patience and flexibility in connecting with and teaching over 500 inner city youth. When she led medical mobile trips to Peru and Ecuador, she valued adaptability and humility in treating patients. In Los Angeles, she continues implementing such skills in her work with the homeless youth population. Samhita’s experiences with these diverse educational backgrounds have fostered a positive learning environment and transparency for students and their families alike.

Samhita understands the demands of mastering various subjects. With their diverse set of academic content, standardized tests require students to approach each subject uniquely—a skill Samhita has honed in her own education.
