    About Sarah

Sarah has spent her entire adult life in pursuit of two major goals—that of her own education, and that of the education of others. She has spent the past 16+ years helping students excel academically, specifically within the realm of college admissions testing, and has helped over 500 students improve their scores, earn acceptance into the top high schools and universities in the country, and improve their overall confidence in their academic abilities.

Sarah attended the prestigious Stuyvesant High School in New York City, which accepts under 3% of applicants, and scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT. Fresh out of college, Sarah began working as a tutor and classroom test prep instructor for various organizations across New York City, teaching everything from the GRE and GMAT to the SAT, ACT, and GED. Sarah’s success rates in SAT tutoring once earned her recognition as Brooklyn Test Prep Teacher of the Year. Sarah then became a teacher trainer and curriculum developer, helping other teachers to excel at their craft. Sarah has spent the last 6 years teaching college-level math and science, as well as publishing math curriculum that is now taught in colleges around the country.

Sarah is extremely sensitive to the fact that every student has unique strengths and challenges, and there is not a “one size fits all” approach to tutoring.  She believes in teaching students to approach problems from multiple angles so that they can choose the approaches that work best for them. Sarah is patient, down to earth, and young at heart, which allows her students to relate to her and quickly earns their trust and confidence.
