    About Victoria

    Victoria brings a deep knowledge of the SAT, ACT, and SAT Math Subject Tests as well as an extensive background in test preparation and teaching. She has led SAT and ACT classes in underserved communities in the New York City area and has tutored hundreds of students in Long Island, Westchester, and the D.C. region. In addition, Victoria worked as a test prep company’s head of curriculum development and redesigned its SAT/ACT curriculum. At Washington University in St. Louis, she taught writing courses for undergraduate students, helping to develop their analytical and creative writing skills.

    As a high school student, Victoria was a National Merit Scholar and a National AP Scholar, scoring a 5 on 10 AP exams, including English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Calculus AB, and French. She scored 800 on her SAT Verbal section and 800’s on SAT Math II and French. She also achieved a perfect score on the GRE Verbal section.

    Victoria believes that preparing for standardized tests not only ensures students are confident and ready for test day but also provides an opportunity to “learn how to learn,” a skill that will be relevant for any subject. She brings a warm and empathetic approach that is specific to each student’s strengths and needs.

    Noteworthy Accomplishments

    • In high school, Victoria went to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair and placed 4th in her category.
    • Victoria’s ACT students have seen increases of as much as 15 points in the English section and 12 points in the Math section.

    Fun Facts

    • Victoria can recite the first lines of Western poetry, from Homer’s Iliad, in the original metrical ancient Greek.
    • There is an asteroid (#11725) named after Victoria.
